Localised Restriction Grants for January 2021
Have you been claiming your Local Restriction Grant funding?
It provides financial support to certain businesses which have been required to close or severely limit operations at their premises. The claims vary across the UK and Ireland but we have a general guide below. Get in touch if you need help navigating your local claim:
For businesses in England:
Those that are forced to close will receive up to £3,000 for each 28 day period. Those restricted in tier 2 or tier 3 areas, Local Authorities will make grants worth up to £2,100 for each 28 day period.
NI is in Phase 5 of grant funding as follows:
From 26 December 2020 to 5 February 2021, payment for 6 weeks. Payments range from £4,800 to £9,600.
In Ireland:
Qualifying businesses can apply to Revenue for a cash payment from 13 October 2020 until 31 March 2021.
Payments are calculated on the basis of 10% of the first €1 million in turnover and 5% thereafter, based on average VAT exclusive turnover for 2019.
